Korean Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients
  

  • 24 chicken wings
  • 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chilli pepper paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (light is best)
  • .5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp rawsugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • .5 tsp chilli powder or sauce to your taste
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Put all of the ingredients except the chicken wings, spring onion and sesame seeds, in a microwave safe container and mix thoroughly
  • BBQ or bake the chickens wings to your liking
  • Once wings are done and resting, pop the sauce into the microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Stir the sauce then pour over the chicken wings then give the wings a bit of a toss to coat thoroughly
  • Pop wings on a serving dish. Scatter spring onion and sesame seeds over the wings to garnish.

Notes

Add your own amount of chilli. My partner can't handle any heat so I leave it out while cooking. You can add chilli powder, tabasco, hot sauce, or chopped chillies at the end as a garnish.
