
Korean Spicy Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 24 chicken wings
- 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chilli pepper paste)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (light is best)
- .5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp rawsugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- .5 tsp chilli powder or sauce to your taste
- 1 spring onion
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Put all of the ingredients except the chicken wings, spring onion and sesame seeds, in a microwave safe container and mix thoroughly
- BBQ or bake the chickens wings to your liking
- Once wings are done and resting, pop the sauce into the microwave for 2 minutes.
- Stir the sauce then pour over the chicken wings then give the wings a bit of a toss to coat thoroughly
- Pop wings on a serving dish. Scatter spring onion and sesame seeds over the wings to garnish.
Notes
Add your own amount of chilli. My partner can't handle any heat so I leave it out while cooking. You can add chilli powder, tabasco, hot sauce, or chopped chillies at the end as a garnish.
