
Oysters Kilpatrick
In my galley I don't have the ability to grill well so I made these oysters kilpatrick in the frying pan. Quick and easy too.
Ingredients
- 1 rasher of bacon finely chopped
- 12 oysters shucked, free of grit
Sauce
- 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- shake tabasco spice up to taste
Presentation
- 12 oyster shells
Instructions
- Saute the bacon until golden and crispy.
- While the bacon is frying mix up the sauce.
- Heat up the shells so the oysters don't go cold too quickly. Do this in the microwave, oven or a bowl of boiling water
- Once bacon is crispy add the oysters and gently saute them until they're just cooked.
- Place oysters back in their shell, sprinkle over the bacon and drizzle on the sauce.
