Oysters Kilpatrick

In my galley I don't have the ability to grill well so I made these oysters kilpatrick in the frying pan. Quick and easy too.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 rasher of bacon finely chopped
  • 12 oysters shucked, free of grit

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • shake tabasco spice up to taste

Presentation

  • 12 oyster shells

Instructions
 

  • Saute the bacon until golden and crispy.
  • While the bacon is frying mix up the sauce.
  • Heat up the shells so the oysters don't go cold too quickly. Do this in the microwave, oven or a bowl of boiling water
  • Once bacon is crispy add the oysters and gently saute them until they're just cooked.
  • Place oysters back in their shell, sprinkle over the bacon and drizzle on the sauce.
